2. Return Period: You have a 30 day period from the date of purchase to initiate a return for a full refund. After this period, refunds may be subject to approval.
3. Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase, such as an order number or receipt, is required to process a return.
4. Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at creative@tahoebay.com. We will guide you through the return process, provide you with a return authorization, and address any questions you may have.
5. Return Shipping and Restocking Fee: You are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. A 10% restocking fee will be applied to refunds of over $200.00.
6. Inspection and Refund: Once we receive the returned items, our team will inspect them to ensure they are in new condition. Upon successful inspection, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Refunds may take between 3 and 10 days to process depending on the payment method.
Please note that any items returned in a condition other than new, including signs of wear, damage, or missing components, may result in a partial refund or denial of the return.
Defective Item Replacements
If an item purchased directly from TahoeBay.com arrives defective, please contact us at creative@tahoebay.com and provide your TahoeBay.com order number along with a clear photo showing the defect. Once the defect has been reviewed and confirmed, we will arrange a replacement for the affected item.
This replacement policy applies only to orders placed directly through TahoeBay.com. Orders placed through another marketplace or sales channel are subject to the policies and customer support process of the platform through which the order was placed.

Tips for customizing TahoeBay Can Coolers with HTV, Direct to Film (DTF), and sublimation. See demonstration videos below.
Please note: These are generalized tips. Dialing in your settings for consistent results may take some trial and error. For the easiest transfers, we recommend our foam can coolers for HTV and our neoprene can coolers for sublimation.
HTV & DTF Transfer
- Pre-heat your press to the temperature listed below.
- Use a lint roller to remove lint from the can sleeve.
- Place butcher paper or a Teflon sheet inside the sleeve to prevent it from sticking to itself.
- Add butcher paper on the top and bottom of the can cooler as a barrier while pressing.
- Pre-heat the sleeve in the press for 10 seconds at the recommended temperature.
- Center your vinyl graphic on the can cooler, then press again using the butcher paper and settings below.
Recommended Settings (may vary by vinyl and DTF brand)
- Cricut EasyPress: 15–20 seconds at 330°F, light pressure
- Commercial press: 15–20 seconds at 280-330°F, light pressure (adjust press gap for sleeve thickness)
- Household iron: 15–20 seconds on medium heat, light pressure
Troubleshooting Tips
- Confirm your vinyl is designed to adhere to polyester.
- Use your vinyl brand’s time, temperature, and pressure guidance.
- Try a cold peel (let the vinyl cool before peeling).
- Pre-heat both the iron and can cooler. (Important with neoprene)
- Press evenly and straight down (especially if not using a commercial press).
- Peel the carrier sheet in one smooth motion.
- “Set” the vinyl with a short second press (~5 seconds).
Sublimation
Note 1: While sublimation can be used on our foam can coolers, many prefer neoprene for better durability at higher temps.
Note 2: Sublimation works best on light-colored coolers—designs won’t show well on dark backgrounds. For dark sleeves, we recommend HTV or DTF.
Follow HTV steps 1–6 above, plus these adjustments:
- Secure the sublimation paper with thermal tape.
- Extend artwork slightly beyond the can cooler’s width and height for full edge coverage.
- Let the can cooler cool before pressing the second side.
Recommended Settings
- Commercial press: 40–60 seconds at 350°F, light pressure (adjust press gap for sleeve thickness)

What they have in common:
Both foam and neoprene styles have a polyester outer layer that works with HTV, DTF, sublimation, and screen printing. For higher-temperature applications such as sublimation, many creators prefer neoprene because it is firmer and more heat resistant.

How to Use the Universal Print Templates
- Download and unzip or extract the template files.
- Upload the template for the side you would like to decorate into your design software.
- Adjust the template until the sizing markers line up correctly.
- Create and size your design using the aligned template as a guide. Do not resize the template after the markers have been lined up.
- Remove or hide the template before printing your finished design.
